Every family is so different so I wanted to make sure my newborn options relfect that. My signature session is just 30 minutes long and I make sure it feels as painless as possible. I may not get sleepy baby photos but I will get photos that reflect your new baby's tiny-ness and how loved they are in this moment. This session is for the mom that has just enough capacity to book photos but not much more left over. Let me handle it all and I promise to be in and out in no time. (Every photo on this page is from a "quick" session :) 

The general recommendation is around 2 weeks old but that is just a guideline. If you want to be sure to get the "little-ness" we want to aim for before one month old. If you are super overwhelmed or just put it off, anytime is ok! Later is better than never! 

For in home newborn photos you can go casual and relaxed, or more glam and wear a dress. Sometimes a dress is more comfortable anyways! I am happy to help. For baby, keep it simple and stay away from too many outfit changes to keep them happy! 

There are pros and cons to both. In home is easy because you don't have to leave and we have a little more flexibility with timing. If you have no desire to pick up your home at all or don't have great natural light then a studio may be a better option. I have a few to pick from based on your preferences. 

Boise newborn session pricing starts at $425 for a 30 minute session. There are add ons for video and studio options as well. Ask about a maternity/newborn package!

yes! I love photographing the whole family together with baby but also making sure to get some one on one and just baby photos.

I like to aim for 30 minutes. This has been a great window of time to get everything I need without disrupting your new phase of life!
