Hey friend! If you’re reading this I’m hoping you clicked over before booking a spot with me. I’ve been photographing families for the past 5 years and have a pretty good handle on the types of families that have the best experience with me. My goal is always to set expectations first so you know what you’re going to get when you book with me. If you think that maybe I’m not the right fit for you, please let me know so I can point you in the direction of a photographer that will be!
- I am NOT a perfectionist. I say this first because it’s important. If you are looking for the “perfect” family portrait of everyone looking at the camera with pasted smiles on. I’m not for you. If you’re looking for every shot to have perfectly clean clothes, smoothed wrinkles, and fake smiles, I am not for you.
- I like messy. When shooting families I am doing all I can to get authentic expressions and connections and will not always catch the little imperfections. I do what I can to edit out anything distracting, but I won’t ever promise to make it look perfect.
I rebranded sessions this year to “Storyteller” sessions because I want that to be the focus. I love learning about my families and what makes them tick. I love learning what phases your kids are in, what songs make them dance every time, what dimples or habits they have that you need to remember for the future.
