Are you a type B family photographer that needs help with organization? I hear ya! I have been learning how to lean into what works best for me and my brain. I am completely dependent on these systems to keep organized while I home-school and raise two kiddos.

Trello

This app is a GAMECHANGER if you’re a little ADHD or type B. I am constantly brain dumping onto sticky notes or dry erase boards but they inevitably get lost on my desk. Utilizing Trello helps keep me organized by having different container tabs that I can drop ideas into. I use this mostly for reel ideas and captions right now. I can brainstorm while on my desktop and then copy and paste from my phone when creating reels. Being able to move from mobile version to desktop is so useful.

CRM

There are so many Client Relationship Management companies out there (if you need help deciding which ones work best for you I would use AI to give you a comparison). I have been using Iris Works for probably 8 years now. I like that they are a smaller company and listen and respond to requests for features. The key here is having email templates, questionnaires, and documents all uploaded so you’re not repopulating them each time. There are even workflows you can use to automatically send things. Batch Work

As a homeschooler and mom to 2 I really struggle to have a consistent schedule when it comes to my business. Using batch work has helped immensely. Choosing certain days for certain tasks is so helpful in making sure my work gets done. This goes for housework as well. I have certain days designated for meal prep, cleaning, etc.
