What is a Storyteller Session? Seattle Family Photographer

Hey friends!

I’m trying something new this year. I have found that my most successful sessions are ones that are well planned out, in locations where there is room to run and play and s-l-o-w-d-o-w-n.

These sessions are for families to play and really interact with each other.

I completely understand how hard it can be to truly be present with our kids sometimes. There are so many distractions on a daily basis. At your session we will be very intentional about giving your kids your full attention. I will use prompts and games to help you interact and engage with them. Before your session I will send a questionnaire to help me get to know you better and tailor your session to your individual family.

I want these sessions to feel slow. I want to slow you all down to just sit and love on your family (yes, even the toddlers that don’t stop moving can have this same feel.)

What types of families are these sessions best for? Ideally, these are perfect for families with younger children (12 and under). Older kids don’t need as much time to warm up and play. If you would like a session for families with older kids I will be offering 30 minute mini sessions. These will also be focused on candid and meaningful, but just won’t need as much time.

Video add on is also available for $100!

  • All sessions start one hour before sunset. If you need an earlier session time I recommend booking in spring or fall when sunset is earlier!
